HAN infrastructure

IJENKO provides a full HAN infrastructure and plug-and-play products to connect the consumers’ appliances to the service platform.

The IJENKO Home Gateway is connected to the consumer Internet service and

• Controls HAN smart devices,
• Collects data and transmit commands,
• Processes information locally to minimize data transfers and platform calculations,
• Runs automatic programs set by consumers or providers.

A complete set of smart devices have been developed and /or integrated : power meter sensor, demand response module, thermostat, temperature/humidity sensors, smoke/CO detectors, motion sensors, door and window sensors.

Open and optimized infrastructure

Any IP or ZigBee open-standard device can be added to the HAN. With the IJENKO open-HAN certification program, providers are assured that HAN devices sourced from third parties will work seamlessly with the IJENKO Home Energy Management Solution.

The IJENKO infrastructure benefits from proprietary communications protocols developments that minimize the data exchanges between the HAN and the cloud platform. By processing consumption and information in the home gateway, through customisable and downloadable programs, the IJENKO HAN infrastructure improves scalability and performance.

Portable Software Gateway

The IJENKO SW Gateway can be ported on any type of Home gateway (router, Internet access gateway, set-top box). This gives the providers the unique capability of fully integrating the IJENKO Home Energy Management Solution in their own environment.
