A core Service Platform combining consumers’ Energy Efficiency actions with providers’ Demand Management programs

The IJENKO Service Platform is the core element for providers to deliver Energy Efficiency services to their customers and to achieve their Demand Management objectives.

The platform leverages both individual Energy Efficiency actions on the consumers’ side and collective achievements with Demand Management programs on the providers’ side. It consists of on five independent services to deliver a complete Energy Efficiency and Demand Management solution.

Service Components:

• CONNECT: creates the interaction and communication channel between consumers and providers, and collects information from sensors (data consumption, events) and pilot control points.

• ENGAGE: provides consumers with advanced, personalized Energy Efficiency tools and gives providers tools to engage and incentivize consumers in collective Energy Efficiency and Demand Management programs.

Integration, security and scalability

The IJENKO solution is an open-standard, cloud-based, secured infrastructure that lets providers tailor their Home Energy Management service to their needs. They can manage their service directly from a secure extranet, or directly integrate the IJENKO Home Energy Management solution in their business processes and systems through APIs. Provider can also adapt the IJENKO User Interfaces to their brand requirements using CSS, or develop their own consumer services using APIs.

Because data protection, performance and scalability are critical to providers operations and to consumers service adoption, the IJENKO solution features high-availability cloud-based architecture and end-to-end communications and data security.

Third Party Applications

Through a full set of APIs, IJENKO gives providers the opportunity to develop their own consumer-oriented applications based on the set of data available on the platform. Third parties can also access the Service Platform to develop additional applications (e.g. Surveillance and Security applications).
